Savings circle payout calculator: pot size and payout dates

Free tool · Updated 28 October 2026 · By the Savings Circle team at FutureTech

Enter what each member pays, how many members there are and how often you pay. The calculator shows the pot for each round, the payout date for every turn and when the circle ends. It works for a committee, kameti, tanda, susu, chama, paluwagan or any rotating savings group.

How is the pot calculated?

Every member pays the same amount each round, including the member who receives the pot that round. So the pot is the contribution multiplied by the number of members. Over the whole circle, each member pays in exactly what they receive once.

What about a month with fewer days?

For monthly circles, a payout on the 29th, 30th or 31st moves to the last day of a shorter month. Agree a fixed payout day with the group before the first payment, and keep to it.

Are the numbers sent anywhere?

No. The calculator runs in your browser, and nothing you enter is sent to Savings Circle or stored.

Need an order of turns? Use the random turn-order draw. When a payment is late, see the WhatsApp and SMS reminder templates.
